  • "I wanted to tell you how wonderfully your dahlias are performing in my garden, despite the fact that they have had less than perfect conditions! Picture doesn't do it justice
Wendy Bedrosian (Wellesley Hills, MA) 9/3/2017 7:06 AM
This is a beautful bloom with a long vase life. The colors are fantastic, much prettier than the picture. It is not a very big flower and it is a moderate bloomer, but I do love it and will plant more next season.

not too many flowers
Karen Muse (Jackson, MI) 10/14/2016 5:25 PM
The blossoms are absolutely gorgeous, but I got very few of them. The paucity of flowers is a deal-breaker.

so beautiful
Kristin Hembrooke (Occidental, CA) 8/17/2014 2:16 PM
Crichton Honey is not as prolific as I would like but the flowers that I do get blow my mind. The colors are so beautiful. Mine come out more peachy than the picture depicts. I could stare at this one for hours. Sacred geometry!

Stands up to the Georgia heat
Susan Crawley (Atlanta, GA) 4/29/2013 10:33 AM
I must put in a plug for this lovely dahlia, which is tough enough to take not only the summer heat here, but also our intermittent neglect. For the past four years it has bloomed profusely despite spider mites, water restrictions, and powdery mildew. Last year, we didn't even stake our dahlias and this one bloomed while it sprawled. (We promise them to do better this year.) The blooms are more varied and delicate than the photo shows, with lovely variegations of orange, bronze, and peach.

flower performance
Jeannette Fogarty (Ashburn, VA) 12/29/2012 9:39 AM
Very disappointed. 3 plants grew fine, only 1 plant produced flowers, a total of 5 flowers before first frost. The tubers were perfect, they were planted at the right time, right location, lots of sun, plenty of water, plenty of stinkbugs, but it did not seem to affect the plants. the flowers that did bloom are beautiful but it took a lot longer than 90 days. Planted in April and blooms all showed in early October right before the first frost. A little warning would have been nice.
