HOOTENANNY (CO) Introduced in 2005. Hootenanny brings to mind song and dance, and this variety is so cute, its blooms seem to dance in the summer breeze. The 3" blooms are a vibrant magenta with a magenta and pink collar surrounding a dark black open center. The bush has dark green foliage with dark stems, a nice contrast with the magenta blooms. Can be cut for arrangements, but cut young while the center is waxy in appearance for best arrangements. Bush is 4'. Recommended as a cut flower.
