All orders are packed with love and shipped at the standard shipping times according to the shipping map to the left. However, once we begin shipping on the approximate dates shown above, it will take a few weeks for all orders in that area to ship out of our farm. The earlier in the season the order was placed, the earlier they ship out within their shipping times. Orders are shipped out by the date received.

Shipping Confirmation

If you have supplied us with your email address, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with the package tracking number on the evening your order has shipped. Remember, we ship all retail orders through the United States Post (USPS) office, so we need your mailing address (the address you receive mail at daily).

Custom Ship Option (Shipping on a Specific Date (Additional $5.00 Fee))

If you wish to have your order held, rushed, or shipped out on a specific date (March 1st - May 15th), an additional charge of $5.00 will be applied to your order total. We are not liable for orders shipped before your location's standard shipping time. If you select a date earlier than when we would typically ship to you, watching for the package is your responsibility. We are not liable for tubers that freeze in transit or are left at your address. 

Re-stocking Fee

If an order is shipped to the address provided by the buyer and is returned by the Post office or the order is refused/returned to us for any reason, a 25% re-stocking fee will apply before a refund is issued – shipping/handling charges are non-refundable. If an order needs to be re-shipped, shipping/handling charges will apply.

Lost Package

If your order tracking shows that your package has been delivered, we ask that you take the tracking number provided in the shipment email to your local USPS (Post Office) for assistance locating your package. Many times a package will be incorrectly marked delivered but taken back to the Post Office for pickup as your mail delivery person did not feel safe leaving the package at that time. If an order is lost in shipment and we can provide documented delivery, the order will be replaced at the buyer's expense. We are not liable for packages left at your delivery address.

U.S. Territory Customers (Guam & Puerto Rico)

Orders are shipped through the U.S. Postal Service.

  • We are not responsible if your country should charge you an additional import tax on your dahlia order.
  • Standard U.S. Shipping fees apply to each order.
  • For orders being shipped into Guam & Puerto Rico, an Agricultural Phytosanitary Inspection Certificate is required, with a $50 fee per order.
  • All U.S. Territory orders are shipped out on the 5th & 20th of March & April. The last date to order for Spring 2024 delivery is April 7, 2024.

Once your country's customs department receives this order, it will be processed and released at their discretion. It may take 4-6 weeks for packages to clear. We are not responsible if your country should charge you an additional import fee or taxes assessed on your dahlia order. We include all of the required international paperwork with every order.

*Any dahlia that fails to grow from your current spring order you received must be reported by October 1st of the same growing season. Any necessary replacement will be shipped in your next International spring order.

Canadian Customers

Canadian orders are shipped through the U.S. Postal Service.

  • The charge is $2.00 per tuber with a minimum of $49.95 for shipping and handling per order.
  • We are not responsible if your country should charge you an additional import tax on your dahlia order.
  • An Agricultural Phytosanitary Inspection Certificate is required for orders shipped into Canada, with a $50 fee per order.
  • All Canadian orders are shipped out on the 5th & 20th of March & April. The last date to order for Spring 2024 delivery is April 7, 2024.
