Product Description

SPARTACUS - (AID) Introduced in 1993. A consistent show winner, this variety is an exhibitors dream. 9" blooms of a beautiful black red color that make the petals appear to be made of velvet. Petals fold back to the stem and blooms are held at a 45 degree angle on the 4 1/2' plant. If you exhibit, you will want to add this variety to your collection as it almost always brings home a blue ribbon. Should do well in exhibition.
This product ships in the Spring.

I was really looking forward to see Spartacus in full bloom, I was not disappointed.
A fabulous Dahlia

This wins a lot of exhibitions and took a best of show for me at the San Joaquin County Fair last year. It looks like rich red velvet as in the picture. Not a lot of flowers, but excellent for show.
