Dear Dahlia and Gardening friends,

We would like to give you an update as of today, as things are rapidly changing and are hard to adjust to so quickly. Each day brings new challenges and new information.
  
Since, gardening is needed in our world. We have decided to stay open for business! We will continue to take, process, and ship orders this spring. We will continue to promote gardening with our beautiful dahlias to help all of us cope with the uncertainty. We are a family business who deeply feels it is important to take care of our employees and families at this time.

We are concerned for the health and safety of our employees during these uncertain times. We have implemented new cleaning procedures to help keep our staff and customers healthy. We are continuing to stay open for customer service during our normal business hours of Monday-Friday, 9 am-4:30 pm, Pacific Time. We know it is hard to think about the future or even tomorrow in some cases. However, we truly believe that gardening is one of the best stress relievers there is and is beneficial for the soul. As gardening is an activity we can continue to do while being home and safely social distancing ourselves. Being in your garden gives you peace, fresh air, and some physical activity to keep you healthy. Gardening is an essential part of our lives during times like these.

Many customers have been asking about Walk-in Sales this season. We have always been open April 1st through June 1st each season for you to come to our office, place an order, and take them home with you immediately. We will be changing this process this year, as our office and gift shop are closed. On March 31, 2020 we will begin taking "phone-in" orders for pick-up the next day at our farm in Canby, Oregon. All orders must be placed 1 business day in advance, must be paid by credit card at the time the order is placed, and we will request an approximate time of arrival, and vehicle make and model. We will then bring your order to your car on the day of pickup when you arrive. If you do not arrive on your pickup day, then your order will be charged shipping fees, and will be shipped in late April. We must be strict about this policy this year, to keep everyone healthy and safe. We do have catalogs available on our office/gift shop front porch for you to pick-up and browse through. Our website, dahlias.com has the most up to date availability and full descriptions. Please be patient as we navigate these changes.
