This was the first year I tried this one and it did not disappoint! It had the most blooms of all my dahlias this season and I love the unusual red bloom with dark foliage!

Groovy has been a prolific bloomer for me this year, many blooms and so beautiful! Definitely needs some serious staking to keep it upright.

Many to cut...
Dani (Linden, NJ) 8/6/2013 4:00 PM
This was the first dahlia to bloom in my garden and had 10 flowers before most had 2! The color is a lot of fun...predominantly a matte dark red with light splashed of orange and yellow with give the appearance of watercolor brushstrokes. Looks great with yellows, oranges, and hot pinks.
