Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Canby Library plan to sell a select group of used books in several genres including gardening, cooking, fiction, mystery & children’s books, and our new FOL logo coffee mugs. All proceeds fund all cultural and educational programs at the library including children and teen reading programs, cultural passes, Storytime for Tots, and free summer concerts.
The Friends of the Canby Public Library is a volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit, member-based organization dedicated to supporting the Canby Public Library. The Friends believe that a good library is essential to the cultural, educational, and economic well-being of the community. Members of the Friends of the Canby Public Library are advocates and ambassadors for the Canby Public Library.
Through revenues raised at the Book Garden Store, the Friends provide funding for a diverse range of library programs and services, including summer reading, cultural passes, family, adult, and musical programming.
You can help by becoming a Friend, Friend Volunteer, or donating. Friends are members of the Canby community who believe that a good library is essential to the well-being and livability of the city.
