Festival Food Vendors Application

We are looking to book 1 Food Cart & 1 Coffee Cart on-site every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and 2 to 3 Food Carts, 1 Drink Cart, and 1 Coffee Cart every Saturday & Sunday. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during August and September. We prefer to book each cart for consecutive dates in a row, making the return days easier for everyone, but this is not required.

As most of you know, the weather sets the stage for attendance and dramatically affects our daily visitor numbers. We are a very popular destination for Oregon in August & September. However, mid-August to mid-September is the busiest, as we are in prime bloom. Over the two months, our attendance averages 300-1500 visitors daily, with some days larger than others.

All food vendor slots for the 2024 festival have been filled!

Any new applications will be considered for cancellations for the 2024 festival season.

    What we provide:

    Swan Island Dahlias will provide the customers, the power via a spider box, trash/recycling for daily garbage, and grey water disposal tank.

    Hours:

    We are open 5 days a week in August & September, 9 am-5:30 pm, and closed Monday and Tuesday. We ask that food be available 10-5 pm and coffee be available 9-4 pm.

    Do I have to sign up for all of August & September:

    No. You may just do a few days or more over the 2 months. You do NOT need to be here every day during August & September. We rotate food vendors throughout the festival.

    Fee:

    Food Vendors pay 12% of daily gross sales.

    Setup/Take Down:

    If you are scheduled for consecutive days, you may leave your booth/truck setup.

    Mandates:

    Swan Island Dahlias and all vendors are required to follow state guidelines and mandates while on farm property.

    When do you book your summer events:

    We begin accepting applications for each summer festival from November through January 15th. Contracts are sent in late January/early February. All applications received outside of this timeframe will be kept for a waitlist/cancellation spot. To reserve your spot, you'll need to return a signed contract by the specified date noted in contract.
